The Logitech Zone Vibe 100 is quoted to last for 18 hours on a charge, which is decent enough battery life for getting through a couple of working days. While similarly priced gaming headsets offer more battery life, the Vibe 100 isn’t meant to compete with those. The lightness of the Zone Vibe 100 contributes to its daily, long-term wearability. The whole unit weighs just 6.5 ounces, and the ear muffs are crafted of knitted fabric and memory foam for a feeling of wearing hardly anything at all. It's a hard contrast to heavy-duty headphones that feel weighty on your head for hours, and you still feel like you're wearing them even hours after you take them off. The audio experience out of the Logitech Zone Vibe 100 isn’t groundbreaking, but provides a good all-round experience for games and music. There’s a lot of mid-range, which is handy, as that’s where most of the elements of musical audio lives, but the bottom end did feel a little lost at times. People were impressed by how clear I sounded on calls, even when I tested the headset in the noisy streets of New York. Sound quality has also improved, and while this doesn't sound as good as Sony or Bose headphones, the sound quality for listening to music is quite respectable. It supports the SBC, AAC and AptX audio codecs. (Jabra Evolve2 65 Flex supports only SBC.) Since then, he's been amazed at how much of the show's technology made its way into the real world. It’s also nice to see that the multimedia controls involve actual tactile buttons as opposed to wheels and toggles with little resistance or feeling to them. On the left-hand side, you’ll find buttons for controlling volume, accepting calls and for toggling Bluetooth as well as a USB-C port for charging; the right-hand side simply houses a play and pause button. You can pair the Voyager Focus 2 UC with your computer with the included USB dongle or your phone (or tablet) via Bluetooth. It can also connect to a desk phone if you want to bring it to the office. Also worth noting: The boom microphone has a mute button on it, but when you flip it up it also automatically mutes the microphone. The original Voyager Focus doesn't mute when you lift the boom microphone. The microphone on offer here is a flip to mute candidate, which is becoming more common. It provides some decent clarity with some body to it, although can sound a little thin at times. In testing with friends over Discord, they noted the mic sounded pretty good, and to my ear, it’s in line with gaming headsets that cost a lot more. There are some significant design nods from the likes of the G535 Lightspeed gaming headset with the general shape and feel of the headset, but I’m thankful Logitech’s more business-like, conferencing headset doesn’t offer the weird fabric bungee adjustable headband.

It's key that the headset or headphones you buy fit your head well. They should offer a comfortable fit that's snug yet not too snug. Ideally, you want a headset of headphones you can wear over the course of a day with minimal breaks. The fabric padding on offer is okay and enough to provide decent noise isolation, but it’s much better on earcups that the thin headband. The Zone Vibe 100’s grey plastic and fabric construction also means it’s pretty lightweight (as is evidenced by its total 185g mass) and easy to sling into a bag if you want to go and work elsewhere as opposed to the office.
